In cooperation with Choices Market and Chef Lekker catering we are very excited to offer you this 4 course menu. In this post, we hope to give you more insight of what we offer you.
The Valentine’s day menu is a joined action from Choices markets and Chef Lekker Catering. The first of it’s kind and we hope to offer you more exiting menu’s in the future.
The menu is $25 per person (+gst). It is available for pick up on the 14th at the Yaletown choices market at 1202 Richards St, Vancouver.
Or have your menu delivered to you. For delivery we charge a $5 delivery fee on top of the total price.
This 4 course menu is inspired by french classics. It focuses on local products available at the Choices Markets. It is easy to make, easy to order. All you need are the basic utensils already available in your kitchen.
With your order you will receive a detailed instruction on how to cook this fantastic meal. On top of that You can always give Chef Lekker a call if something comes up while you cook it.

The menu is made with products found at Choices market and made to order by Chef Lekker at their facility.

Choices Markets and Chef Lekker catering (further revered as we), are not responsible for any allergic reaction that might occur. For more information about ingredients, keep reading, we have the full list in the next paragraph. The menu is tree nut free, BUT even though we take utmost care, we cannot guarantee any cross contamination from other product.
After you sent us your request, we will e-mail you an invoice. You can choose to pay by Credit card or send us an E-transfer. Once the payment is completed your Valentine’s menu is booked. There is no refund possible once the order has been paid. You can make a reservation for an order up and until the 9th of February. After that your order will be cancelled.

At Chef Lekker Catering, we value your privacy. Therefor we will not use either your address, e-mail or phone number for any future marketing/advertisement purposes. Because of logistic reason we cannot substitute items in this menu. Unfortunately, We cannot offer a discount for smaller menus. There is no minimum order for this menu. However there is a 2 menu minimum order for delivery.

Deliveries are carried out on Monday the 13th of February.
If you opt in for delivery, please include your phone number with your order. You can inform us of your preferred delivery time. This is no guarantee, but we will take it into consideration, when we create our delivery route. Add any information that would be of importance to make a punctual delivery.
In case there is no one at home during the delivery, we will give you a call. to reschedule the delivery. Alternatively you can pick your order up at Choices market Yaletown at 1202 Richards St, on the 14th.
There is no refund for delivery charges, if the delivery falls through.
As mentioned before, we cannot guarantee any cross contamination. Some menu courses contain dairy, gluten, sulphites. If the ingredient you are allergic to is not on the list, you can contact us to make sure.
Mini beef wellington with balsamic reduction:
Tenderflake puff pasty: Flour (Wheat), Modified Palm And Canola Oil Margarine (Soybean), Water, Sea Salt. May Contain: Milk.
Filling: Beef tenderloin, mushrooms, onion, garlic.
balsamic reduction: Balsamic vinegar, cane sugar.
Roasted red pepper soup with sour cream
Red peppers, sour cream, salt, peppers, cayenne pepper (just a little pinch), smoked paprika, water.
Chicken ‘ballotine’ stuffed with rosemary and sun dried tomato with grilled Mediterranean vegetables and canadian wild rice
Chicken: Chicken breast, salt, pepper, sun dried tomato (may contain sulphites), rosemary.
Vegetables: Eggplant, Bell peppers, Zucchini, Red onion, Garlic, Balsamic vinegar (may contain sulphites).
Rice: 100% Canadian wild rice.
Bavarian creme with berry jam coulis
Bavarian creme: Cream, Milk, Vanilla, Icing sugar, Gelatin (sorry not Halal or Kosher).
Berry jam coulis: Organic strawberries, blueberries, seedless blackberry puree, raspberry puree, cane sugar, apple pectin, ascorbic acid, citric acid, water.
