Spring is one of my favourite seasons. The first warm sun rays hit the ground. The first flowers start to bloom and the variety of local ingredients become available again. The smell, the feel and the taste makes spring the ideal time to host a catered party.

Create your own Spring menu

If you would like to create your own menu, here are some tips&tricks I use

When I think of the food there are certain keywords that reflect Spring to me. Most menu ideas I get is when I am at the grocery store or farmers market. I use the keywords as a feeling, and if the food I hold gives me a good feeling, I want to use it in something delicious :). and there are ingredients I love to see when it is Spring. Most catered parties will have one or two of these on the menu.

My keywords for spring:

  • Fresh
  • Local
  • Easy & sophisticated
  • Outside
  • Light
  • Colourful
